Terra

Greetings! NASA is launching the Terra satellite, the first satellite to observe Earth system science. Instruments aboard the satellite are meant to collect data of Earth’s atmosphere, lands, oceans, snow and ice, energy budget, as well as their interactions with solar radiation. The satellite will also observe natural hazards on earth, such as fires and volcanoes, and altogether, the data will lead to new conclusions about the Earth system and its changing.
