Welcome to Planetary Professors! As everyone knows, NASA (the National Aeronautics and Space Administration) is a government organization that handles space missions (such as the Apollo missions and Mars rovers), space research, and various space telescopes (such as the Hubble Space Telescope). However, few are aware that in addition to exploring the depths of outer space, NASA also makes an effort to observe Earth — from its oceans, to its lands, to its atmosphere — to better understand the planet we live on. Planetary Professors’ personal mission is to showcase to younger audiences the lesser-known missions and research of NASA, not those focused on what lies beyond Earth’s atmosphere but rather what lies within.
