IceSat-2

Greetings! Glad you could join us before our launch! This is the IceSat-2 (otherwise known as the Ice, Cloud, and Land Elevation Satellite-2)! Using laser pulses, it measures the changing height of the planet Earth, specifically that of the ice sheets, sea ice, and glaciers. It is equipped with a laser altimeter which sends out 10,000 laser pulses per second. Would you like to launch the IceSat-2?
