CATS

Time for another launch! The Cloud-Aerosol Transport System (CATS) is an instrument consisting of a lidar remote sensing tool used for supplying measurements of aerosols and clouds floating in the atmosphere from the International Space Station (ISS). When attached to the ISS, it provides more detailed information about tropics and mid-latitudes (where the main aerosol transport paths are) than other orbiting sensors.
