Aura continues to orbit Earth every sixteen days flying 705 km (438 miles) overhead. It traverses over the equator at around 1:45 PM and orbits at the back of the satellite constellation, the A-Train (15 minutes behind Aqua). The satellite is observed and operated through the Goddard Space Flight Center’s Flight Operations Team.
