SPA Undergraduate Council
The School of Public Affairs Undergraduate Council is a part of AU Student Government that focuses on creating events and opportunities specifically for students of the School of Public Affairs. I was the President and Director of Special Projects. Within this role I have been able to help with events like:
State of The Union Watch Party - We threw a watch party with over 100 attendees for Joe Biden's 2022 State of the Union
The Project on Civil Discourse - We held weekly events in which students and professors debated with each other on a variety of topics to foster polite civil discourse.
AU Blood Drive - We worked with American University to put on a blood drive after a shortage was seen cross America.
Eagles Helping Eagles - We've worked with AU Dining to create a program where students donate meal swipes to their fellow students in need.
Cold LSAT - We held an event where students could take an LSAT with no cost in order to help them prep for the Law School Admissions Test.
